Acuity Counseling Therapist Bio
Jillian Nichols, MS, LMHC, NCC
Individual Adult & Teen Therapist
Jillian enjoys working with individual adults and teens who are looking for a therapeutic setting to navigate a variety of life’s challenges. She is warm, authentic, creative and works to facilitate an environment that allows clients to open up and receive the help they are seeking. Jillian believes that her clients are the experts on their own lives and that all people are capable of resiliency, growth and self-exploration.
Working with Individual Adults
Jillian works with individuals who are looking to gain insight into themselves and improve their quality of life. She seeks to understand each individual holistically, including their backgrounds and the strengths they already possess to provide an individualized approach. Jillian believes that establishing a strong alliance with her clients is essential to getting the most out of therapy and creating lasting change. Through this alliance, she partners with her clients to explore and address thought and behavior patterns that serve as barriers to enjoying life fully.
Working with Teens and Young Adults
Adolescence and emerging adulthood often provide a variety of challenges that can create a feeling of overwhelming uncertainty. Jillian aims to have her clients feel heard and understood, to begin to work through these challenges and develop sustainable coping skills. Her approach allows clients to have a stronger sense of self and feel more confident in navigating life’s challenges.
